Parent Philanthropy
Parent generosity helps make UCLA's student experience truly world class.
World-Class Academics

UCLA offers a rich academic experience for all students. Thanks in large part to private philanthropy, UCLA is able to recruit and retain faculty members that have received numerous awards, including Nobel Prizes, MacArthur Fellows, Pulitzer Prizes, and National Medals of Science along with countless other accolades. With over 5,000 courses and 125 majors offered, every student can pursue their academic interests under the guidance of highly accomplished faculty and world industry leaders.

A Vibrant Community

Bruins are more than just brilliant scholars; they are fiercely driven and deeply engaged in the world around them.  The UCLA environment nurtures our students’ needs by providing diverse experiences and opportunities.  With over 1,000 clubs and organizations—many of which receive support from parent gifts—to engage student interests, a Volunteer Center to extend community leadership beyond campus, and recreation centers that foster healthy living, UCLA embraces a philosophy of holistic student life.

A Passport for the Future

The UCLA Career Center provides progressive services and resources to help students prepare for life after graduation. Whether your student chooses to enter the work force or attend graduate school, they will benefit from the reputation and recognition of their UCLA degree.  In addition, UCLA graduates will have access to a vast and diverse alumni network that will provide opportunities far beyond their college years. An investment in UCLA today pays dividends for your student now and in the future.
